Who we are

Aid Wings Humanitarian Organization (AWHO) is an independent, national, non-profit humanitarian and development organization working to save lives, protect dignity, and strengthen resilience across Sudan. We work with communities affected by conflict, displacement, poverty, and disasters to improve their safety, wellbeing, and long-term stability. Our programming integrates emergency response, early recovery, peacebuilding, and sustainable development to ensure that immediate life-saving support lays the foundation for lasting recovery.

To alleviate human suffering in Sudan by delivering timely, life-saving humanitarian assistance and protection to the most vulnerable populations, while strengthening individual capacities and empowering communities to achieve lasting recovery, resilience, and sustainable development through an integrated, rights-based, and people-centred approach.

More about us

Our staff, volunteers, and board members are the heart of Aid Wings’ work. We are led by experienced humanitarian professionals and supported by dedicated field teams who work directly with communities across Sudan. Our governance structure ensures transparency, accountability, and strategic direction aligned with humanitarian principles and national regulations.

Aid Wings receives funding and support from a range of partners, including humanitarian donors, institutions, foundations, and collaborative partners.

We are committed to financial transparency, compliance with national regulations, and responsible stewardship of resources to ensure that funds directly benefit crisis-affected communities.

Aid Wings contributes to life-saving response, recovery, and sustainable development through a blend of community-level interventions and strategic collaboration.

From emergency relief and WASH services to livelihood restoration and peacebuilding initiatives, our work supports communities to move from crisis to resilience.
